Description

The purpose and intent of this solicitation is to obtain the supply and delivery of a complete fabricated single span, 2 piece, steel footbridge superstructure, including steel structure, timber decking and elastomeric bearing pads; for the Rogue River crossing near Hamaker Campground, Rogue River National Forest. Fabrication: Structure shall be completely shop fabricated in accordance with applicable requirements of the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) specifications, and the American Welding Society (AWS) Structural Welding Code. Delivery: Deliver F.O.B. completed bridge superstructure halves to storage area off Diamond Lake Highway (State Highway 230) located approximately 68 miles northeast of Medford, Oregon, within 90 calendar days after notice of award. Storage site is accessible to semi-trucks and is paved. Issue O/A November 7, 2001. When calling be prepared to state name, address, and solicitation number.
