- Description
- US Army, TACOM-ARDEC, Picatinny Arsenal, anticipates soliciting under the authority of FAR 6.304-1, a sole source requirement with General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, located at 10101 Ninth Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33716. This will be a firm fixed priced requirement to modify the current contract to produce a 120mm Advanced Tungsten Armor Piercing, Fin Stabilized, Discarding Sabot (APFSDS) tank cartridge on behalf of the Arab Republic of Egypt. The requirement will include delivery of 5,000 KEW-A1 cartridges and approximately 350 KEW-A2 cartridges to perform qualification for use in M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank. This modification supports Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) EG-B-UUO. See Numbered Notes 22 and 26.
