Description

The Acquisition Department, National Naval Medical Center (NNMC) Bethesda, MD has s requirement for the Blood Services Blood Bank Center Department. NNMC intends to award a Sole-Source Procurment to Terumo Medical Corporation, 950 Elkton Blvd., Elkton, MD 21921 for Triple Blood Bag System. The minimum requirements for the Triple Blood Bag System are: (1)450ml primary collection bag, (2) one satellite bag filled with AS5/OPTISOL anticoagulant solution (3) two empty satellite bags for the production of various blood components, (4) a blood sampling arm site to allow the collection of blood into test tubes while maintaining a closed and sterile environment, (5) the ability to store red blood cells for 42 days (5) FDA approval for use in the Blood Bank.
