Description

The Department of Defense, Naval Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technology Division, (NAVEODTECHDIV) is requesting information on thermal imagers. Descriptive literature to include product data sheets, product quality, reliability, warranty, company points of contact and pricing information for state-of-the-art commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) thermal imagers is requested. Desired system parameters: 1) lightweight 2) handheld 3) readily available commercial battery 4) capable of use in rugged field conditions. The data collected from this market research effort will be utilized to understand commercially available items' ability to meet the projected needs. Desired parameters do not necessarily represent minimum acceptable capabilities.
