Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspections Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ), Waimanalo, HI intends to acquire on a as need bases, an estimated 11,000 corrugated fiberboard containers and inserts used for shipping pupae for the emergency medfly projects in Hawaii. A first article sample is required for government testing. Upon approval of the first article sample , delivery shall be on a as needed bases, FOB, Waimanalo, Hawaii. The RFQ to be released on or after November 5, 2001. For a copy of the RFQ, submit written or Faxed request stating name, address, telephone number and solicitation number. FAX requests to Purchasing Section? at Area Code (612) 370-2106. Telephone requests will not be accepted. NAICS code is 322211. Simplified Acquisition procedures will be used in accordance with FAR Part 13. A firm fixed price blanket purchase order will be awarded. The expected period will be from date of award through Sept. 30, 2002. This RFQ document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27. Applicable FAR clauses are incorporated by reference: Prompt Payment 52.249-1 (4/84); Fixed price 52.243-1 (8/87); Offeror Representations and Certifications 52.212-3 (10/98); ALL RESPONSIBLE SOURCES MAY SUBMIT A QUOTATION FOR CONSIDERATION.
