J04940-This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Reference Solicitation No.DAHA50-01-T-0073/Request For Quotation (RFQ). Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27, applicable commercial items clauses and provisions are hereby incorpo rated. NAICS code is 811310 ($5M)and Business Size Standard is advertised on a unstricted basis. This solicitation contains five(5) line items which combines the rental of one (1) each parts washer and service of three total parts washers (two each are gov ernment owned). Option years, and not to exceed four (4) consecutive years from the basic contract period may be considered. Basic contract period is the date of contract award through 30 September 2002.CLIN 0001- Service(s) Nonpersonal: Contractor shall f urnish all labor, tools, materials, equipment and transportation necessary for the rental of one (1)each parts washer, 40 gallon capacity or equal. And parts washer service of three (3) each; rental plus two government owned (40 & 30 gallon capacity). Dura tion of service is at an eight week interval, solvent required is #146, to include filters, replacing and disposal of solvent from all three (3) parts washers. Site visit is encouraged. Offerors are encouraged to provide a quote on an eight week interval t o include the rental fee. CLIN 002 through 005 are the option years ( 1 Oct thru 30 Sept )with the same criteria described at CLIN 001. Evaluation for contract award shall be determined by the total price of all option years and the basic. (Ref:FAR 52.212- 2).
