Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-02-Q-0021 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-side for small business concerns. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, Acquiris, USA, Monroe, NY FAR 6.302-1. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 and DCN 20011001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this procurement is 334515 and the business size standard is 500 employees. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination to Crane, IN 47522 within 4 weeks after award. Final inspection and acceptance will be at NSWC CRANE. Selection for award will be based on price and past performance. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirements of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. . The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
