Description

This is only a synopsis. The actual RFQ (with info and specifications) will be available on the Procurement Gateway after the date mentioned below. Email any questions to the contact listed below. See Notes #1, 9 and 26. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. This is an acquisition for 100,000 of the item Badge Qualification, Parachutist, NSN 8455-01-112-9598. There will be two destinations required with 6 deliveries each. The destinations are: Arizona Ind. for the Blind, Phoenix, AZ and DDSP- New Cumberland Facility, New Cumberland, PA. The production leadtime is 165 days after award. =20 Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(a)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway at http://progate.daps.mil/home after 11/14/01. (Note that all dates are estimated) From the Gateway homepage, select "Search RFQs" from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. In addition, you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an E-MAIL notification of RFQ solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The FSC and NSN notifications will also contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet. The solicitations will be in a downloadable, printable format when viewed with an Adobe Acrobat Reader. Free software is available at http://www.adobe.com/products/acroabt/readermain.html.
