Description

The Sierraville Ranger District, Tahoe National Forest, is planning to advertise the BITS, PIECES, and TOE tree thinning and removal of sawtimber and nonsawtimber material. BITS consists of 395 acres with an estimated total volume of 2,549 CCF (9,506 green tons), PIECES consists of 418 acres with an estimated total volume of 3,012 CCF (10,668 green tons), and TOE consists of 707 acres with an estimated total volume of 5,095 CCF (18,045 green tons). BITS and PIECES are planned for advertisement in December 2001 and TOE in March, 2002. Sample marked areas are located on the pre-advertisement map and leave tree are marked with Orange paint.
