Description
Peter E. Schuster, Senior Contract Specialist, (202) 565-4220 DESC: The contractor shall provide all necessary, tools, labor, materials, equipment, permits, license, and supervision for the general construction of Phase I Gravesite Development, Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma. Project Number 920CM2001. This project will construct the first phase of a new National Cemetery, consisting of approximately 80 acres. Solicitation is for all necessary labor, materials, and equipment for construction. Project includes the site earthwork and grading for burial sites. The installation of 2,000 pre-cast Concrete lawn crypts, 1,000 pre-cast concrete columbarium niches. An Administration/Maintenance/Storage Building Complex with approximately 6,000 square feet. A public Information building approximately 700 square feet. Entrance Gateway, Two Committal Service Shelters, Flag Pole and Assembly Area, Roads, Utilities, Turf, Landscaping, Irrigation, Fencing, Sediment and Erosion Control and other items as indicated on the plans. All work called for under the contract is to be completed within 500 calendar days from contractor's date of receipt of Notice To Proceed. Estimated value of this construction project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Estimated solicitation issue date is 10-31-01. A Site visit is planned and tentatively scheduled for 11-15-01. Estimated bid opening date is 11-30-01.
