Description

The contract will be a requirements type for a base year and four option year periods. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 for the five year period. The solicitation will be available only on the USMA website at http://www.usma.ar my.mil/doc on or about 30 Nov 01 and will close on or about 30 Dec 01. Attachments will be mailed only to contractors who have requested to be added to the bidders mailing list. The solicitation will be issued unrestricted and will be evaluated under the Hubzone Preference Program. Payments will be made utilizing the Government Credit Card. All contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contracto r Registration (CCR) prior to award. Lack of registration in the CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award. Therefore, offerors that are not registered should consider applying for registration immediately upon receipt of this solicitation. This contract requires sporadic work and heavy scheduling on the part of the contractor. 50-75% of the work will be accomplished from 1 June -- 31 Aug. There are great p eaks in required work, but also great valleys where no work is assigned. Demonstrated experience in contracts of a similar nature and magnitude will be required.
