Description

Project Title and Location: Heavy Construction and Dredging Work, Inner Harbor Turning Basin. Alameda County, California. This procurement is Unrestricted. Work includes concrete pier and pile demolition and disposal, sheet pile bulkhead with battered pile support installation, dredging and transport of approximately 40,000 cubic yards of material to Berth 10 Re-handling Facility at the Port of Oakland and delivery to Class III disposal, dredging and disposal of approximately 160,000 cubic yards of material to Middle Harbor Enhancement area, and water and electrical system utility relocation. Estimated price range is more than $10,000,000.00. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS code 234990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $17,000,000.00. Large business competing for this project must comply with the FAR 52.219-9 clause regarding the requirement for a subcontracting plan on the part of the work it intends to subcontract. The recommended goals for subcontracting are 61.4% for small business, 9.1% for small disadvantaged business, and 5.0% for small business/women owned.
