Description

Successful contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment and supplies necessary to perform all work to resurface approximately 5000 linear feet of access road to the Cambell Creek Science Center, and the parking lot at the Science Center. The work is located in the Anchorage Borough, Anchorage, Alaska. Work includes grading, drainage, surfacing materials, signage, striping, lighting, and relocating a small parking lot at the entrance of the access road. The project includes additives that may be awarded based upon funds available at the time of bid opening. The additives include paving portions of gravel parking areas at the Campbell Tract Facility administrative offices, crack sealing and seal coating of existing paved areas, and repairs and enhancements to a pedestrian trail that parallels the Science Center access road. The Government Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Bonds will be required as follows: bid bond -- 20% of offered price; payment and performance bonds -- 100% of contract amount. Liquidated damates will be included. The period of performance is 365 calendar days from receipt of the notice to proceed.
