Description
This notice hereby deletes the previous CBD submission No. 50V3L2. THIS REQUIREMENT IS A 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE AND ONLY SMALL BUSINESS SHOULD APPLY. The Government proposes to acquire under Solicitation DACW37-01-R-0013, pump control equipment and engineering services for 2 pumping systems associated with the Corps of Engineers flood control project in Grand Forks, ND and East Grand Forks, MN. The wor k is to include electric motor starter systems, controllers, SCADA and radio telemetry for new interior drainage pump stations, a centralized master control monitoring system, and engineering services. The equipment and services to be provided must accomm odate 9 new storm water pumping stations in East Grand Forks and 14 new storm water pumping stations in Grand Forks. Optionally, the Contractor may be required to migrate the existing city storm and sewage pump stations into the new master control systems , providing a single centralized control and monitoring system for each city's pumping infrastructure. Instrument Control Systems (ICS), Inc, previously supplied the existing pump control systems (13005 16th Avenue North, Suite 100, Plymouth, Minnesota 55 441 Tel: (763) 559-0568). The proposed contract will be a firm fixed price contract to be awarded utilizing negotiated, competitive source selection procedures. All proposals received will be evaluated on the basis of TECHNICAL MERIT, PAST PERFORMANCE, a nd PRICE. Technical merit and past performance, in combination, are considered significantly more important than price. The estimated price range is between $1 million and $5 million. NORTH AMERICAN INDUSTRY CLASSIFICATION SYSTEM (NAICS) CODE IS 334513; SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD IS NOT IN EXCESS OF 500 EMPLOYEES. Plans and specifications are available as of 14 Nov 2001, with offers due 14 Dec 2001. The solicitation is available only by CD-ROM.
