Description

This is an Invitation For Bid (IFB) that replaces previously advertised IFB-CC-01-19 which was postponed indefinitely by Amendment No. 3 thereto. Companies that received IFB-CC-01-19 will be issued the new IFB-CC-02-02 automatically, and need not request another copy. Through a REVERSE AUCTION, the National Institutes of Health will purchase toilet tissue, toilet seat covers, paper towels and supporting products as furnished by Kimberly-Clark, Rochester Midland, Georgia Pacific, and San Jamal, or equal. This is a total small business set-aside. All other concerns regarding specifications are to be directed via electronic mail to al_plyler@nih.gov or FAX to Al Plyler at the number below. It is anticipated that a fixed-price, indefinite quantity (requirements) type contract will be awarded for a period of one year with four 12 month option periods. Invitation For Bid (IFB) IFB-CC-02-02 will be issued on or about November 5, 2001. Closing date for responses is approximately 21 calendar days after issuance of the IFB.
