The Space Committee of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) invites you to attend the next Space Committee Luncheon, featuring Lt Gen Jack Woodward, USAF, on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001 at 11:00 AM at the Sheraton Premiere in Tyson's Corner, VA. The topic of General Woodward's discussion will be "Partnering with Industry in the War Against Terrorism." General Woodward is the Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications and Information, and the Deputy Chief Information Officer, Headquarters, United States Air Force. As the Deputy Chief of Staff, he is responsible to the Secretary of the Air Force and Chief of Staff for strategic plans, doctrine, policies, architecture and standards. He is the functional manager for more than 104,000 communications and information professionals. He is also responsible for three field operating agencies: the Air Force Communications Agency, the Air Force Pentagon Communications Agency, and the Air Force Frequency Management Agency. The schedule for this event will be as follows: Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001: 11:00-11:30 AM Registration 11:30-12:00 Lunch 12:00-1:00 PM Presentation: "Partnering with Industry Against Terrorism" The cost of the lunch is $55.00 per person.
