Description

In accordance with OMB Circular A76 and its Supplemental Handbook, the Military District of Washington Acquisition Center will be issuing solicitation DADW35-01-R-0017 on or about 19 November 2001 for base operations support services at Fort Belvoir, Virgi nia. This solicitation is being issued for the services of Installation Planning and Management Services, Logistics, Public Works, Resource Management, Library Services, Army Substance Abuse Program, Safety Program Services, Provost Marshal Administrative Support, Historian, and Enviornmental and Natural Resources. This action is 100 percent small business set-aside; the applicable North American Industry Classification System code is 561210 with a small business size standard of $20.0 million. The apparent successful offeror will compete with the Government in-house Most Efficient Organization (MEO). The solicitation will not result in contract award if Government performance is determined to be more advantageous. The anticipated contract type is cost plus award fee with cost reimbursement line items. Any resultant contract will have a performance period that includes a 12 month base year period with four (4) one year option periods. The solicitation and all amendments will be issued via the World Wide Web. When the solicitation is issued a website will be announced. No paper copies of the solicitation or any amendments will be mailed. No public announcement of any amendments will be made. Vendors are advised to periodically check the web for amendments or ot her updates. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled or published via solicitation amendment. The website for the solicitation will be announced on or about 19 November 2001.
