Description

The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention intends to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Aventis Pasteur Inc. for Botulism Antitoxin Type A&B (up to 400 single dose vials) and Type E (up to 200 single dose vials). The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.253(C)(1), only one responsible source. The offered product must be approved by the FDA for the treatment of acute botulism toxin poisoning. Any party that believes it can meet this requirement may request Solicitation Number 2002-N-00007 in writing. Only written requests for the solicitation directly from the requestor (including facsimile requests to 770-488-2670) will be accepted. No telephone requrests. The solicitation will be issued o/a 11/13/01.
