Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-02-Q-0029 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-27 as well as DCN 20011001. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330 and the business size standard is $4M*(annual revenues). This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 -- 1 LT consisting of Test engineering development, technical development, technical support, training and test fixture requirements/design in accordance with attached Statement of Work, for a three month period. SOW can be downloaded in PDF format at http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/announce.htm. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within one week after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC CRANE. Competition is being restricted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, one unique source capable of meeting the Government's requirement. The Government intends to award the purchase order to Artisan Electronics, Moon Road, Gosport, IN. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
