Description
The U.S. Army Technology Applications Program Office (TAPO) is seeking sources for a Quick Reaction Capability Radar Warning Receiver Upgrade Program for it?s fleet of MH-47 and MH-60 Rotary Wing Aircraft. TAPO is interested in enhancing it?s current fleet of AN/APR-39A(V)1 radar warning receivers with either an updated capability or through replacement by a different system. Potential system candidates may be Commercial-of-the-shelf (COTS) or Government-of-the-shelf (GOTS) proposed solutions. The Government anticipates a firm fixed price contract to acquire and install a quantity of fifty-two (52) systems. Desired delivery and installation of all systems is 12 months after contract award. Interested sources are required to submit an information package which includes: Technical description of the system (including block diagrams, space, weight and power requirements, subsystem (line replaceable units (LRU)) and system pictures); a supportability concept for the system (including estimates of failure rates of LRU?s and critical components, repair and overhaul concepts (organic depot, contractor support or combination) and reprogramming concept (including identification of any rights in technical data issues); and a top-level program implementation plan (including identification of long-lead items, fabrication and assembly timelines, test and installation timelines). Rough Order Magnitude pricing for system acquisition and support is also requested. For purposes of this information request, the interested source should prepare the ROM based on a delivery of 10 systems per month, as well as the most economical purchase quantity/lot size. Interested companies should submit a complete product description to United States Army Special Operations Command, Technology Applications Contracting Office, Building 401, Fort Eustis, VA 23604-5577. Unclassified and classified responses are welcome. Please respond by 09 November 2001. For more information contact Jacki Alford, Phone (757) 887-5223 X352, or e-mail at jalford@tapo.eustis.army.mil.
