Description

This will be a modification to the Presolicitation Notice posted back on September 27, 2001 at 15:47. The submission Number was 50Z017. This modification will in no way delay the FAR required 15-day advertisement time, which was met back on October 13, 2001. The purpose of this Modification will be to convert the Solicitation from Firm-Fixed-Price to an IDTC. The Minimum Quantity for the base year will be 9,000 and the Maximum Quantity will be 11,000. There will be Four One-Year-Term Options with Minimum Quantities equally 4,000 Poles annually with Maximum Quantities of 7,000. The prior synopsis read as follows: See numbered notes 1, 9,13 and 26. The required MIL-SPEC is MIL-P-40148. The NSN: 8340-00-753-6574 will be a Total Small Business-Set-Aside. All materials required in order to furnish this product must be furnished by the awardee. There will be two destinations and they are the Defense Distribution Depot Barstow, CA (SG2) and the Defense Distribution Depot Albany, GA (MAB). DSCP will require a total of (6) six deliveries in the base year and each additional option year. The first scheduled delivery will be 180 days after the date of the award. Best Value Source Selection will still be required in this Solicitation.
