Description

The Department of the Treasury intends to award, on a sole source basis, a personal services contract to serve as a Government Debt Issuance and Management (GDIM) Intermittent Advisor with specialized experience in the government securities market. The responsibilities of the Intermittent Advisor will be to provide advice and assistance to senior officials of the ministries of finance and national banks in Eastern Europe, the Former Soviet Union, and other countries, in connection with their implementation of the economic reform program of the respective governments. The Advisor will work under the policy supervision of the Director of the Office of Technical Assistance (OTA). The Intermittent Advisor receives technical guidance from the Senior Advisor and the Associate Director of the Department of the Treasury, OTA and will be required to travel globally to perform the duties. A determination by the Government not to compete this effort is solely within the discretion of the Government. See Note 22. No telephonic inquiries or responses will be accepted.
