Description

The work includes whole house revitalization of twenty-eight single family homes. The renovation includes the addition of front porches, rear screened-in porches and rear decks. There will be a total renovation of all kitchens and main bath of each house, including rework of electrical and mechanical items associated with these areas. This project also includes all new roofing shingles, siding, and landscaping, including limited site and utility work and incidental related work. Solicitation will be available on or about 20 November 2001. The solicitation will be available on the NAVFAC E-Solicitation website via the internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Contractors are encouraged to register for the solicitation when downloading from the NAVFAC E-Solicitation website. Only registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. Technical inquiries shall be faxed to 757-462-7878, Attention: Tina Rule. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 23321 with a Size Standard of $27,500,000. This project is not set aside for small business. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Large businesses shall submit a subcontracting plan prior to award of the contract.
