Description

Numbered Note 26 applies. Solicitation will be issued utilizing Best Value Source Selection procedures. This will be a Total Set aside for Small Business Concerns negotiate indefinite delivery type procurement with two options. Sizes will be procured FOB destination to AQ5-San Joaquin and SNT-New Cumberland, PA. The quantity is 25,776 Minimum and 40,000 Maximum Jacket Flyer 45/P (PGC:00621). The two term options quantities will be 20,000 Minimum and 40,000 Maximum. Applicable end item specification is MIL-J-83388, 18 June 92 with pattern date 16 July 92. Production lead-time is 180 days after date of award with 9 deliveries. Technical requirements of the solicitation consist of PDM, Experience/Past Performance, Manufacturing Plan, Quality Assurance Plan and DLA Mentoring Program. Prior award history is as follows: Propper International; Quantity -- 13,733 Minimum and 22890 Maximum; Price:$160.06 base year, $165.41 option 1 and $165.27 option 2. Note: The Jacket, Flyer's 45/P must be produced in the United States. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(a)(7) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
