Description

Electricity and ancillary services, for ultimate delivery to Department of Defense (DoD) and other Federal Civilian installations in New York? 719,204,617 kWh. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information. This announcement and the document, which can be accessed at the URL identified below, constitute the only solicitation. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses, are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-01; no numbered notes apply. Contracts are anticipated for either 12 or 24 months. No award will be made to an offeror who at the time of award is not on the state approved list of retail electricity providers in the state in which award is to be made. Individual line item quantities will be as estimated in the schedule contained in the solicitation. Additional requirements may be added by amendment. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered. The RFP is available through the DESC-A electricity web site, http://www.desc.dla.mil/PublicPages/a/electric/index.cfm/.
