Description

Contract Closeout Services for Cost Type Contracts. Using Reverse Auction Procedures, the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) will procure services for closeout of contracts IAW FAR 4.804-5; Procedures for closing out contract files. This will be a sources sought for 8(a) contractors. Responsible sources must submit an interest by responding to this announcement. See response directions below. Deliverable: Contract closeout checklist and DD 1594 for each contract closed. File disposition will be processed by packaging files for records holding IAW FAR 4.805 for Government storage space in designated government SMDC location(s). Period of performance will be for six months. Responses should be received no later than 4:30 CST, 9 November 2001, at USASMDC, PO Box 1500, SMDC-CM-AK, Rhonda Clemons, Huntsville, AL 35807-3801; or Rhonda.Clemons@smdc.army.mil. No fax responses will be accepted. We will not accept telephone quotes . Vendor shall refer to the Reverse Auction procedures as indicated on website http://ops045.frictionless.com for instructions on auctioning for this effort and through CECOM point of contact, Matt Meinert at (732)427-1498. Vendor shall do the reverse auct ion to be considered for this effort.
