Description

The proposed indefinite task order contract is to assist the Galveston District, Corps of Engineers (COE) in furthering cultural resource investigations conducted in conjunction with COE planning, construction, operations and maintenance projects within th e boundaries of the Galveston District, Texas and Louisiana. This procurement is intended to result in the award of two indefinite task order contracts, each for a period of one year with options to extend for four additional one-year periods. The contra ctors are to furnish all personnel, facilities, plant, equipment, materials, supplies, and services necessary to conduct any studies and investigations and to prepare and provide any report as specified in the contract. Services to be ordered include: 1) archival and historical research; 2) reconnaissance and intensive survey; 3) National register eligibility testing and data recover; 4) marine magnetometer survey, underwater testing and data recovery; 5) HABS/HAER evaluations and recordations; 6) special studies; 7) laboratory analyses; 8) technical reports; and 8) National Register nomination forms. All work and services ordered under these contracts shall be completed by the contractors within the time negotiated and specified in each fixed-price task o rder. Evaluation criterial and their relative importance are contained in the Request for Proposals.
