Description

McConnell AFB KS has a need for a contractor to provide animal control services to reduce bird strikes and other animal interference in flight line and other base operations. All Services will be performed at McConnell AFB KS. This service will be for a base period of one-year plus four one-year option periods. This solicitation is a 100 percent Small Business Set-Aside. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be utilized and award criteria will be based equally on price and past performance. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The primary Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 0971. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 11421. The solicitation package will be available on or around 14 November 2001, via the government Electronic Posting System at www.eps.gov. It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the web page for notice of amendments, updates or changes to the current solicitation. No hard copies will be mailed. Anticipated award date is on or about 2 January 2002.
