Description

VA North Texas Health Care System will issue a Request for Quotes (RFQ 549-02-12) on or about November 9, 2001, for window washing services, at both the Dallas and Bonham campuses of VA North Texas Health Care System. Services will take place two times per year during the base contract year, and two times per year during each of the two contract option years. As authorized by FAR 5.102(a)(7), solicitation dissemination is limited to electronic medium, and no hard copies will be provided by VA. The solicitation will be available for download at no charge at the VA Business Opportunities System website, http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Vendors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all bid documents and any amendments, and should re-visit the VA web site periodically to look for any updates. All vendors are strongly urged to register on the bidders mailing list at the bottom of the web site in order to receive automatic notification of changes. The solicitation is restricted to small business only. The NAICC is 561720, and the small business size standard is $12 million average annual receipts for the preceding three years. Any questions must be addressed to the contracting officer in writing, no later than 2:00pm, November 30, 2001; no telephone inquiries can be accepted. Quotes are due no later than 2:00pm, December 14, 2001, with contract award anticipated by January 2002.
