Description

SOLICITATION NO. N68335-02-R-0002 AND ALL AMENDMENTS WILL NOT BE MAILED TO CONTRACTORS. 100% Small Business Setaside (NAICS Code 332710). The solicitation will appear on the NAVAIR homepage located at http//www.navair.navy.mil Select "Business", then "Doing Business With Us", and "Open Solicitations". The solicitation is for a basic quantity of 40 oxygen line flushing sets to be manufactured in accordance with Drawing No. 3719AS100 and the statement of work to be used by US Navy activities. The US Navy designed system is essentially a diaphragm pump and 2 stainless steel filter assemblies all enclosed and fixed within an aluminum transportation, storage, and operation box. Also to be included within the box are various hydraulic fittings and hoses to be used to hookup various oxygen lines for flushing. Several ancillary items (fastening hardware and quick disconnect couplings) will also be purchased and assembled as a kit and included within each set. The manufacture of the box requires experience in sheet metal working, machining and assembly. The remaining components are standard commercial off-the-shelf equipment. The contract will be firm fixed price with an option quantity for up to 65 additional units. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government technical, past experience, past performance and price considered.
