Description

General Services Administration, Auburn, Washington State, is considering setting aside a janitorial serivces requirement for a HUBZone business. The services are required at the Federal Building in Petersburg, Alaska. The term of this contract will be 1 year with four one-year options. Petersburg is a remote island that can only be accessed by aircraft or ferry service. Anticipated start date is March 1, 2002. Net cleaning area is approximately 10,000 sf. Wages to be paid to employees must be in conformance with the Service Contract Act requirements for janitorial services in Alaska (approx.$10.74/hr plus $2.02hr for fringe benefits).
