Description

Contract completion date is 150 calendar days from the receipt of notice to proceed. This contract has a base offer plus one option. This project encompasses the renovation and expansion of the Bankruptcy Courts 1st Floor Courtroom. The existing courtroom has no Judge's chambers. The courtroom is being renovated and expanded from approximately 1,000 SF to approximately 1,250 SF. Scope of work includes but is not limited to demolition of: concrete vaults, electrical, HVAC, millwork, flooring, ceiling and plumbing. New work includes HVAC, electrical, plumbing, millwork, flooring, ceiling, marble work and painting. This procurement is open to all business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System is 233320 with a size standard of $27.5 million. The estimated cost range for this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This is a negotiated best value procurement. =20 General Services Administration, PBS, Property Management Division, Contract Support Services Branch, 5PMC will no longer issue construction solicitations via the Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All requests for a copy of the solicitation and drawings must be requested in writing. Any request for a copy of the documents must be made on the company's official letterhead, accompanied by an original signature. In order for the request to be valid, the requester must also provided one of the following documents: (1) Company's current business license; (2) a valid Dun and Bradstreet number, or (3) a valid state driver's license. No fax, telephonic, or e-mail requests will be honored. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. All solicitations will be stored on compact disc and mailed to the requester upon receipt of required information. All requests should be submitted to the point of contact whose name is cited in the Commerce Business Daily announcement to the address shown above.=20 The solicitation will be mailed on or about November 20, 2001. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be December 20, 2001, at 4:00 p.m. (local time).
