Description

M*-Commercial Activities Study (conducted pursuant to Office of Management and Budget Circular No. A-76) for the Visual Information Services of the U.S. Army Garrison, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. This is the 3rd synopsis to advertise the Government's intent to compete the visual information services at Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. There will be no draft solicitation issued. The solicitation requires the following Visual Information Services to be performed: administration and operations support services; electronic multimedia graphic and self-help services; on-site support to the AMEDD Center and School Department of Distance Learning to support illustration, multimedia and photography; photographic services; video productions; audio/video product duplication services; issue, receive and maintain VI equipment and products used for temporary loan; operate, and provide preventive maintenance on, permanent and mobile public address and video display systems; and perform video engineering and support services. The applicable NAICS codes are 333315, 512191, 512199, 513321, 513322, 532490 and 811219. The solicitation is expected to be a Cost Plus Award Fee contract. There will be a transition period prior to commencement of contract performance. The period of performance is expected to run from the end of the transition period for a base and four one-year option periods. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or about 20 November 2001. Only written, e-mail or faxed requests (210-221-5402/4430) for the solicitation will be accepted. The request, as a minimum, shall contain the solicitation number, contractor's name, address, phone/FAX numbers, point of contact and size status; e-mail address would also be helpful. This procurement is 100 percent set-aside under the Small Business Administration's Small Business program and only proposals received from responsible small business sources will be considered. The Small Business Size Standard for this requirement is $12,000,000 (average annual receipts over the last 3 years). The work is currently being performed by Government employees undergoing an A-76 Commercial Activities Study. The Federal Government will also submit a bid for the services on this solicitation.
