Description

The Okanogan and Wenatchee National Forests are issuing maps for the 2002 spring tree planting, Chelan, Kittitas, Okanogan and Yakima Counties, WA. This is an opportunity for prospective offerors to view project sites prior to snowfall. A solicitation will be issued in late winter/early spring referencing RFP R6-18-02-01. Proposed project area packets with maps of the areas are available from the area District peronnel listed herein. No formal pre-bid tour will be scheduled. Multiple awards are contemplated. Resulting contract will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for a possible three years. Estimated solicitation availability date is 1/15/02. Listed are estimated acres for the 2002 planting season. Districts indicating no planting for the 2002 season may have planting requirements in 2003 season. Methow Valley R.D. and Tonasket R.D. will have no planting listed in this package. CLE ELUM R.D., ENTIAT R.D. AND LAKE WENATCHEE R.D. HAVE NO PLANTING PLANNED. Chelan R.D. with contact person Randy Niman, 509-682-2576, estimated 500 acres. Leavenworth R.D. with contact person Mary Jo Bendickson, 509-548-6977, ext 244 has estimated 63 acres and Naches R.D. with contact person Mike Poor, 509-653-2205 has an estimated 283 acres.
