- Sources are Sought to determine acquisition strategy for the re-competition of the Military Family Housing Maintenance contract at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia. The contract will encompass both Main Base Housing with a total of 244 units, and Bethel Manor Housing Area consisting of 1,268 units for a total of 1,512 housing units. The contractor will be required to maintain a management office on Langley Air Force Base/Bethel Manor Housing Area and system functions/support that will interface with the military housing office computer system(s). The requirement includes, but is not limited to a wide variety of maintenance, repair and minor construction. The work will entail a variety of trades such as carpentry, minor electrical, minor plumbing, major appliance service/repair/replacement, HVAC servicing, asbestos/Lead Base Paint (LBP) abatement, painting, repair/replacement of sheetrock, floors, wood and wood members to include other minor construction work. Offerors interested in this requirement should demonstrate their capability to satisfy the requirements stated herein by submitting the following information: (1) Identify business size status: large or small according to the (NAICS) code, 23321 -- Single Family Housing Construction. Also, specify whether the business is Woman-Owned, HUBZone, Small Disadvantaged, Veteran Owned or 8(a) certified; (2) Evidence of financial capability and technical/management resources to support a requirement of this nature and magnitude; (3) Minimum of three references, i.e., Federal, State and /or Local agencies to include telephone number, point of contact and relevant contract/purchase order number; (4) Applicable Federal, State and Local licensures/certifications pertaining to asbestos/LBP work. This is not a solicitation and a response to this notice in no way obligates the government. Any costs incurred in response to this notice are the sole responsibility of the respondent. Any information received in response to this notice will not be returned and will be used soley for the purpose of market research. Information submitted will not be used in final evaluation of an award. Any information marked Proprietary Information shall be handled according to applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations.
