Description

This acquisition is being processed using the Small Purchase Procedure, FAR Part 13. Contractor to provide all labor, supervision, tools, materials, equipment, and instrumentation to investigate and determine the capability to install jackets on concrete piles below the mud line at the Naval Facilities Engineering Service Center (NFESC) Advanced Waterfront Technology Test Site (AWTTS). Structure has both 10? x 10? pre-stressed concrete, 50? long piles, some of which have been jacketed above the mud-line with (4) different types of cover; and 14? nominally 65? long composite piles. Place of performance will be at NFESC?s AWTTS, Construction Battalion Center, Port Hueneme, CA 93043. Period of performance shall be within 4 months of award of the contract. Award will be made to the responsible offeror whose proposal, conforming to the solicitation is considered most advantageous to the Government. The solicitation will be posted at the following Internet address: http://esol.navfac.navy.mil on or about 14 November 2001. In accordance with FAR 5.102, this solicitation will only be available electronically. Note: This is 100% small business set-aside.
