As a result of the impact on the U. S. Department of Energy (DOE), Washington, DC area mail facilities caused by Anthrax inspections, invoices and vouchers are not being delivered to Headquarters DOE personnel. The purpose of this notice is to inform all existing DOE Headquarters contractors/vendors, on an interim basis, who are currently billing to P. O. Box 500, Germantown, MD, 20874 that, until further notice, please fax one copy of your invoice(s) to the following numbers: (301) 903-0131, (301) 903-5977, or (301) 903-6558. The Capital Accounting Center, Accounts Payable Division, asked that dark ink be used so invoice(s) are legible. If you should experience a fax problem when faxing your invoice(s), please feel free to contact Barbara O'Connor at (301) 903-5026 or the Accounts Payable customer service number at (301) 903-4340. Also, please be advised that these instructions have no impact on any other terms and conditions of your award instruments.
