Description

The Virginia Contracting Activity on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) is seeking sources capable of providing services to prepare, present, and consult on training Defensive Driving Techniques for all classes of Attaches, Designates and Attache Staff Personnel at the Joint Military Attache School (JMAS). All training shall be conducted at the UNCLASSIFIED level. The major task is to train prospective attache and attache staff personnel on defensive driving techniques, terrorist surveillance recognition and countermeasures and necessary materials for class presentation, instruct/assist during the course presentation, conduct behind the wheel drivers training in the form of practical exercises, and evaluate student responses to the practical exercises. Necessary areas of expertise include but are not limited to: Defensive Driving Training and Antiterrorist and Counterrorist Vehicle Surveillance Tactics Training and Survival Skills. The contractor's training facilitiy shall be within an 80 mile radius of Washington, DC and the contractor shall provide a 40 person classroom within the proximity of the driving track. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. Please indicate business size when requesting a copy of the RFP. All responses should reference PR 213/0001Z/02. The procurement will be for a base period and 4 one year option periods. Interested parties have 20 days from the publication date of this synopsis to submit their request for the RFP.
