- Description
- Construction of an Air Deployment/Mobilization Enhancement Facility and a Deployment Staging Facility at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. The Deployment RFP is composed of two projects, the Air Deployment Facility and Deployment Staging Facility both proximate to the Campbell Army Airfield on Fort Campbell, KY. The work is for design and construction of the Deployment RFP project. The RFP will be awarded to one single contractor that gives the best value to the Government. The Air Deployment Facility consists of t wo building and asphalt hardstand. The buildings are the Joint Inspection Building(1,408 S.F.) and the Multipurpose Building(3,500 S.F.). The hardstand(19,500 s.y.) is an extension of the current Alert Holding Area(AHA). The Joint Inspection Building inclu des offices, mechanical room and restrooms. The Multipurpose Building includes classrooms, communication room, mechanical room and restrooms. The Deployment Staging Facility consists of a single building(13,440 S.F.) with a rollerized high dock area and as phalt hardstand(5,800 s.y.). The building acts as a receiving and shipping of pallets onto military aircraft during deployment. The price proposal will include a base bid for each of the two projects listed above. There are no option items. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the following criteria, listed in descending order of importance: Past Experience, Past Performance, Administrative/Management, Technical Approach, and Price, with Price being approximately equal to all other factors combine d. This project is available on compact disk only. The estimated total value is between $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Solicitation to be issued on or about 19 Nov 2001. Proposals will be due on or about 28 Dec 01, 4:30 p.m. local time. North American Indust ry Classification System (NAICS) is 233320 (Size Standard $27.5). THIS PROJECT IS 8(A) COMPETITIVE and is limited to contractors certified in REGION 4, which includes the states of AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC and TN. There is no charge for the solicitatio n. Project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both reader s are contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are: 486- based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM, 4 MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive.
