Description

The Contracting Office at Fort McCoy, WI intends to issue a request for quotation (RFQ) and award a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for asbestos removal and disposal services. Contractor shall provide all material, labor, equipment, tools, transportation , and supervision required to remove and dispose of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) from wood framed buildings located at Fort McCoy, WI. The agreement for ACM (non-friable) (i.e. floor tile, mastic, cementious siding, trancite, etc.) from buildings will run for a period of two years, with the anticipated start date of 1 Jan 02. The Government will test all materials to determine location of ACM per building prior to placing BPA calls. This acquisition will be set-aside for small businesses. The No rth American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562910 with a size standard of $11.5 million. The request for quotation will be issued on or about 14 November. The RFQ will be available electronically through the Army Single Face to Industry at http://acquisition.army.mil. Telephonic, written, or electronic requests for hard copies of documents will be denied. Parties interested in the solicitation should access the web page for issuance of the solicitation as well as solicitation amendments ; contractors will not be directly notified of solicitation amendments. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. See Numbered Note 1.
