Description

The Naval Sea Systems Command has a requirement to upgrade and refurbish two (2) AN/SPS-48E Radars including field change kits, engineering services, depot repair, provisioning technical documentation (PTD) and GFE maintenance support, as well as options for seven (7) additional upgrade and refurbishments with field change kits. This requirement will be solicited sole source from the sole producer of the AN/SPS-48E, ITT Industries, ITT Gilfillan, 7821 Orion Avenue, Van Nuys, CA 91403. This synopsis is for informational purposes only, for the benefit of potential subcontractors. The government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the source identified herein. Therefore, solicitation documents are not available; interested parties in pursuing subcontracting opportunities are encouraged to contact the subcontracting department at the above address.
