Description

The US Geological Survey, Minerals Team, Lakewood, Colorado has a requirement for non-personal services, which shall be performed at the Minerals Team Laboratories in building 20, Denver Federal Center, Lakewood, CO. The contractor shall provide the services of on full-time forty hour per week employee to work onsite at the USGS laboratories. The period of performance shall run for 12 months. Contractor shall be responsible for accomplishing the following tasks: prepare rock and other geologic material samples for analysis, including crushing and grinding materials, prepare rock samples for slabbing and mineral staining, perform mineral separation by magnetic, liquid, or centrifuge methods including thermal and sieve analyses, handle sample materials using a scissor fork lift for sample handling and storage, -- click under Additional Information to view complete announcement text
