Description

The MEDCOM Contracting Center, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas, intends to procure on site medical transcription services for Darnall Army Hospital, Ft Hood Texas. This procurement will be a small business set aside. The base period of performance will be 01 Jan 02 through 30 Sept 02, with four (4) one year option periods beginning 01 Oct 02. The estimated lines for the base period is 800,000 , and 1,000,000 lines for each one year option period. The estimated date for the availability of the RFQ is 13 November 2001. The RFQ# is DADA10-02-T-0010. The RFQ will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 12.6. In accordance with FAR part 52.212-2 evaluation factors will be Technical Capability, Past Performance and Price. Performance shall be in accordance with the SOW contained in the RFQ, and will include transcribing, pulling records/files, coordinating with various departments to accomplish daily tasks. The RFQ will include FAR 52. 212-1 instruction to Offerors, FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications, FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items, FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions to implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial items, FAR 52.217-9 Option to extend the term of the Contract and FAR 52.232-18 Availability of Funds. ALL potential contractors must be CCR registered. The resulting purchase order will be Firm Fixed Price. The quotes will be due 21 November 2001. The NAICS code is 561410 and the small business size standard is $5M. RFQ's may be requested by e-mail only. Telephone requests will not be accepted.
