Description

M113 Overhaul and Conversion. The U.S. Army Tank automotive and Armaments Command intends to award a sole source contract to United Defense, L.P., Steel Products Division, Anniston, AL for the FY02 overhaul of 150 M577A2 vehicles and upgrade of the same to the M577A3 configuration with an option for an additional 150 M113 FOV overhaul/upgrades. Period of performance is CY02/03. FOB: Origin. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) entitled "Only One Responsible Source". Subcontracting opportunities may exist with the prime contractor subsequent to award.
