Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, Point Mugu, CA 93042-5049 is extending solicitation N68936-01-R-0103. The requirement is soliciting proposals on a full and open competitive basis from qualified organizations for the purpose of informing, instructing and training Department of the Navy personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance of Common Automatic Test Equipment (CATE) Program, and associated support equipment. This effort was previously synopsized on 3 July 2001, however; no offers were received. There is no change in this requirement. This effort may be at a single or multiple location. The period of performance will commence approximately 1 March 2002 through 30 September 2002, Option Year 1 from 1 October 2002 through 30 September 2003 and Option Year 2 from 1 October 2003 though 30 September 2004. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, cost or price and other factors specified elsewhere in the solicitation, considered. This solicitation is being issued unrestricted and is being classified under NAICS Code 541330 (SIC 8711) ($20.0M). Phone and fax request for solicitation will not be accepted. The solicitation will be made available on the Internet using Microsoft Word 97 format and will reside on the Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, 2.0 Contracts Competency homepage : https://contracts.nawcwd.navy.mil/rfp-nawc.htm.
