Description

The Bureau of the Census intends to issue a sole source contract to SAS Institute Inc., 100 SAS Campus Drive, Cary, NC 27513 for the renewal of the following proprietary software licenses: System 2000 Data Management Software for UNISYS machines, Base System 2000, System 2000 Multi-user, System 2000 Quex and 1100 S2K/Screen Writer. The period of performance will be through FY2002. The basis for the proposed non-competitive action is that this is proprietary software and no other source possesses the capabilities to satisfy this requirement.
