Description

The Department of Clinical Research Informatics (DCRI) is responsible for processes and systems that directly affect users in the care delivery and research settings. Work focuses on the analysis and evaluation of clinical research informatics needs and requirements, the development of design options that support the work processes of clinical research, and the implementation and management of responsive IT solutions. This Request for Quote is a sole source for the following: SRA International, Inc. The purpose of this contract is to engage the services of a contract consultant to assist with the development of data retrieval and analysis tools for data from the current Clinical Data Repository (CDR) and Clinical Information Retrieval Request (CIRR) and aid in migrating data from the Medical Information System (MIS) to both the Clinical Data Repository (CDR) and Clinical Information Retrieval Request (CIRR). Tasks to be performed: Migrate "non-patient" lab and micro data sent to the CIRR from 1976-1999 to the CDR; Document and train staff in generating the 6 month lab cumulative summary; provide access and consultatioin to the CDR for Institute Users; Migrate the MRD transcribed reports to an online archival system; co-develop a system to provide access tp tje 6 month lab cumulative summaries by patient; aid in migrating the data that is planned to be extracted from MIS in realtime to both the CDR and CIRR; development of a comprehensive data dictionary for the CIRR; document and train staff in loading data into the CIRR; analyze and perform request for data extracations; automate the retrieval request and data access process; extract the blood bank transfusion component data from the CIRR to a meaningful relational database format; aid in migrating the data that is planned to be extracted from MIS in realtime to replace the CIRR system. ****Please contact Andrea McGee, Contract Specialist regarding this RFQ.
