- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. TIRSE-02-Q-00009 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 7629; the applicable size standard is $5,000,000.00. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses. The Internal Revenue Service has a need for maintenance of their facsimile machines located at the=20 Internal Revenue Service, Tennessee Computing Center, 5333 Getwell Road, Memphis, TN 38118. The contractor shall quote a monthly rate for the maintenance of the following models: Panafax Model(s) UF-755 (7 ea.); UF-260 (1 ea.); UF-315 (18 ea.); UF-342 (3 ea.); UF-550 (16 ea.); UF-127 (1 ea.); UF-770 (1 ea.). Hewlett Packard Model L3100 (5 ea.). Cannon Model(s) L4000 (1 ea.); 8500 (10 ea.); 9000 (3 ea.); 9000S=20 (44 ea.); 9500 (4 ea.); 9000L (33 ea.). Services will be required for the period, December 1, 2001 through November 30, 2002 (12 months). The contractor will be required to provide on-site maintenance, and shall include all labor, travel and parts. If equipment can not be repaired on-site, replacements shall be made available. A maximum 24-hour response time is required for service calls. An award will be made to the responsible offeror conforming to the solicitation and whose offer represents the best value and is most advantageous to the Government. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items, with its offer. Any quotes received without the representations and certifications will be considered non-responsive. FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders?Commercial Items also applies to this acquisition, and the following clauses are applicable: FAR 52.219-8, Utilization of Small Business Concerns; FAR 52.222-21, Prohibition of Segregated Facilities; FAR 52.222-26, Equal Opportunity; FAR 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for Disabled Veterans of the Vietnam Era; FAR 52.222-36. This solicitation incorporates one or more solicitation clauses/provisions by reference, with the same force and effect as is they were given in full text.
