Description

Project consists of renovation of forty-six (46) architecturally identical units (23 duplexes) of family housing. Buildings are 1940's wood frame construction, clustered together in a close neighborhood situation. The work will be done in two phases: (1 ) Renovation of eleven existing partially renovated duplex structures presently tarped and protected (winterized), and (2) Renovation of remaining duplex structures which are intact. Renovation will include replacement of all interior finishes, appliances , carpeting, cabinets, hardware, electrical and HVAC systems,, and associated site utilities, landscaping and playground. Renovation will also include asbestos and lead base paint abatement. Optional work will include the addition of basements to all uni ts. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS), and will be available to download on or about 12 December 2001 at: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $27.5 million.
