Description

Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) PrISMS, Mission Prime Contractor to NASA/Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), AL, intends to award a subcontract for MSFC Information Services, which shall encompass communications systems support for programs and projects for which MSFC is responsible. Communications services include audio/video, telephone, multimedia, still and digital image production and other related services. The subcontract will be one year in duration and will be awarded on a competitive basis. THIS IS A TOTAL SMALL DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS SETASIDE under NAICS code 512110. It is CSC s intention to make one (1) award for total planned effort. Period of performance shall be May 1, 2002 through April 30, 2003 with one twelve-month option. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available via email in approximately fifteen (15) days from the posted date of this synopsis to all small disadvantaged businesses that respond to this synopsis. The RFP package will include CSC terms and conditions and sufficient technical documentation providing detail of the scope of work to be performed and other relevant information required for proposal preparation. Interested and responsible small disadvantaged businesses shall provide sufficient information not later than 15 days from this publication to request a copy of the RFP. Information required for request includes: Company name, point of contact, email address, and a brief history of communications systems experience via email to kim.adams@msfc.nasa.gov or via fax to 256-544-5828. Responses received after 15 days or not including all required information shall be considered non-responsive to this synopsis. The solicitation number 107CSC22380 must be noted on the request for RFP. It is the potential proposer s responsibility to monitor this Internet site for the release of amendments (if any) and clarifying questions and answers at http://procurement.nasa.gov . Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
